DENNIS
Dennis Stransky, P.E. M.P.A. is a scientific person who thinks differently. If you ask Dennis whether the glass is half full or half empty he will tell you that the glass is twice as big as it needs to be. His experience as an engineer, project manager, and administrator has taught him to look at problems and solutions from a unique point of view. His insight into how organizations function and how they should appear to others is priceless.
With his education and desire to understand how your presentation on the web will affect the individual visitor to your site, we are able to present your organization to your customers, constituents, and colleagues in a way that you may not have envisioned before. Considering that your web presence is often perceived differently from your physical presence, Dennis is a rare mind and valued resource.
JOEL
Joel’s lifelong passion is indistinguishable from his profession. After work as an intern on an early offering to the CD-ROM industry, he was hired as an apprentice for the west coast's largest t-shirt printer. Having witnessed firsthand the birth of desktop publishing as we know it, Joel has literally grown up on the cutting edge of the print and web industries.
In the 14 years since, Joel has flourished behind the scenes of the high-speed Las Vegas gambling and nightlife scenes. When asked about the pressure he replies simply, "Deadlines are not scary when you know what you're doing." Responsible for what became the standard process for attenuated laser film imaging and achieving one of the first fully functional deep linking flash site, Joel knows what he's doing.
In 2007 he founded Stransky Design, LLC pooling his experience with his family’s talent. Fed up with inferior products being forced on good customers, Joel Stransky is offering all of his abilities in one place for the first time.
NICHOLAS
Nicholas has always had a passion for efficiency, and has been teaching computers how to make his life easier since he was six years old. He believes strongly that, "... there is no such thing as a mediocre user, only mediocre software."
In 1999 Nicholas was one of the youngest web developers in the country and started in Santa Monica, CA as a quality assurance engineer for a major online vitamin and supplement distributor during the dot-com-boom. Since that time he has added many technologies to his skill set which includes PHP, SQL, Perl, Cold Fusion, HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, XSLT and in general a solid LAMP and Ajax foundation employed in a Rapid Application Development environment.
Besides being a well rounded and highly talented custom SOAP and database architect, Nicholas is also well versed in layout and interface production management. His nine years of experience with web projects both large and small, dedication to the highest quality assurance in usability and accessibility standards, and constant research of unobtrusive technologies helps the Stransky Design team in innumerable ways.
